The month of June is behind us; it’s time to move on to 4th of July parties and the warmest month of the year here in New England. In June, I set up an ImpulseSave goal to save money for my Social Life; an incredibly worthy goal, I think, considering my “fun funds” bank was previously, well... non-existent.
I established an arbitrary goal amount of $200.00, and have completed half of that amount in just one month! That’s right: I have saved $100.58 towards my Social Life in just 30 small days.
I was finally able to be a tech-savvy saver thanks to ImpulseSave’s “Saving with Instagram” feature. Uploading to instagram and saving money happen to be two of my favorite things - so I was always looking for creative ways to save money by snapping pics every chance I got!
(To ImpulseSave with Instagram, just go to “Me > Account > and click ‘Link to my Instagram Account.’” Then when you share a photo on Instagram, just put #impulsesave and the dollar amount you want to save in the caption. Your savings will be transferred automatically!)
Here are a few of my Instagram saves over the last month, showing all the fun ways I saved money:

Some of my other favorite reasons I impulsesaved this month:
$2.50 “Signore went out and bought me an iced coffee, just because he's awesome.”
$5.00 “Walked to work in the rain instead of paying for parking. I am rewarding myself for suffering through it!”
$1.00 “Went to a local coffee shop instead of Starbucks and definitely saved at least $1.00 on my coffee. :)”
$5.00 “Because we talked on the phone last night instead of seeing each other or going out somewhere. Cheapest date ever haha!”
