Mother, May I?
So you may recall my wildly successful April Savings Goal, which was to ImpulseSave the dollar amount equal to every day’s date towards my student loans goal. I accomplished my enormous goal and didn’t even break a sweat!
I am very pleased to announce that although my May Savings Goal was not quite as ambitious as paying down $1,000 towards my student loans, I was still able to accomplish my goal ahead of schedule! I saved up $50 to buy myself a fantastic bathing suit by impulsesaving every time I made a healthy eating choice. I accomplished my goal before the month was even up, and thus had to start a new goal ahead of schedule!

Hey June, don't let me down
I love when saving is so easy, that my biggest problem is coming up with where to put my money! This is seriously the most difficult part. I saw that several people on ImpulseSave are saving towards their fun funds or social lives, and I realized the sad fact that I don’t have much of a social life - not one that I spend money on, anyway.
But I really would like to have a social life, one in which I can even spend a little bit of money. This is especially true since I will soon be starting law school, and I will need to take a break once in a while!
I’ve set up a goal of $200, and I will be making an impulsesave every time I am staying in for free rather than going out. I also have recently bought a Droid smartphone, so I will be tracking my impulsesaves with the Instagram interface feature.
(To ImpulseSave with Instagram, just go to “Me > Account > and click ‘Link to my Instagram Account’ “. Then when you share a photo on Instagram, just put #impulsesave and the dollar amount you want to save in the caption. Your savings will be transferred automatically!)
